On the 21st of June, 2021, Dr. Aveen Mohmmed Hasan, Head of the English Language Department, Faculty of Humanities participated in an international academic conference on ‘Human: language, society, and culture’. The participant gave a presentation entitled ‘loanwords, their variations in Kurdish’.
The conference was organized by the society “Cultural Artefact” in cooperation with Daugavpils University Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, Latvia. It involved participants from different academic institutions over the world. The conference was hosted on the Zoom online platform.
